Curing blood cancers one event at a time.
Location
Old Course at Broken Sound Club
Approximately every 3 minutes, a person in the United States is diagnosed with blood cancer, such as leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell, and other blood-related disorders. For many, there is the hope of a cure through a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant.
Many blood cancer patients lose their lives because no matching stem cell or marrow donor is found in the worldwide registry, even though there are now more than 33 million registered volunteer donors from dozens of countries. Surprisingly, 75% of African Americans, 75% of multi-racial individuals, 55% of Latinos and Hispanics, and 60% of Asian Americans cannot find a matching donor in the worldwide registry.
Gerstle, Rosen & Goldenberg (GRG) have been active fundraisers and supporters of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the last 10 years. Our fight became “personal” when the firm’s matriarch and mother of two of the principals was diagnosed with a form of leukemia (ALL), which took her life after a valiant battle.
When we learned that our dear friend, Barry Harris (Director at The Nassau Agency), was diagnosed with the same form of leukemia, we were motivated to help create awareness about the need to increase diversity and for people to join Gift of Life’s Registry. It’s all about finding a cure for blood cancer and giving patients in need a second chance at life!
There are a limited number of tickets available for this special evening. Take advantage of the 3 ticket tiers for a memorable and touching night.

Can’t make the event but still want to help?
Many people are just a mouth swab away from being a cure. Donations brings us closer to giving every stem cell transplant candidate a chance for a cure.
The Nassau Agency, some of their sponsors, and respective family members have been directly impacted by blood cancer. Hear more about their personal stories and, together, we can pay it forward at our first charity gala to help find a cure.
